Balancer Removal
1) Lift sash up and tilt out.
2) Tilt sash down to horizontal position.
3) Lift up and out of the shoe, the right side then the left side.
4) After placing the sash aside, start from the bottom and pull the balancer covers.
5) Balancer cover runs the length of the top glass.
6) The exposed balancer.
7) Using a screwdriver or other tool, turn shoe to release pressure.
8) Slide shoe up to bottom of balancer.
9) Remove screw at top of balancer to remove balancer from window.
